Mark your calendars now for Shooting Stars which will be held April 19, 2013! If you are a student, it’s time to get your act together and start practicing or painting or otherwise preparing your entry. Individual schools will be hosting tryouts/talent shows, so check with your drama/music/band teachers to find out when you can audition at the school level. Each school will then send its winning acts to county auditions. These will be held on Tuesday, March 19th and Wednesday, March 20th at the Blowing Rock School.
